Bright Geometric Tote Bag
This unbleached, cotton tote bag was hand painted with all natural plant dyes to create a geometric pattern in bright, juicy colors that remind me of summer popsicles.
Colors are bright yellow, pink and orange and they were made using cochineal, weld, sappanwood, and logwood.
Before dyeing, the tote bag was a natural, off-white color with small flecks in the fabric and these are still visible in the undyed areas.
This bag is sturdy without being bulky - perfect for bringing to the farmer's market or grocery store when you need to pick up a few items. Need a book bag for library books?
