Coreopsis Botanical Print Silk Aromatherapy Eye Pillow
Relax with this luxurious silk eye pillow. It is filled with organic flax seeds and organic lavender to provide a relaxing weight and aromatherapy to rest your tired eyes. The silk fabric feels so smooth and soft against your skin and the dyes are earth friendly so you can feel good about your purchase too!
The fabric is 100% silk that has been hand-dyed by myself using real coreopsis flowers! The flower prints were made through a process in which the natural pigments of the flowers themselves are permanently transferred to the fabric. No synthetic inks, dyes or paints are used. The background is pale gold (also dyed with coreopsis flower dye) and the flower prints are orange with some yellow, brown, and even hints of purple.
Multiple eye pillows made with this hand-dyed fabric are available. Exact placement of flower prints varies. Please see photos for examples.
CONSTRUCTION
The eye pillow is lined with cotton to prevent any lavender bits from poking through the silk fabric. Seams are all professionally finished on the inside and double stitched on the edge so the organic flax and lavender filling will be sure to stay where it's supposed to - inside!
USE
It is useful for soothing tired eyes, meditation, relaxation, or restorative savasana at the end of yoga. Kids love them too!
The eye pillow can be placed in the freezer before using to provide a cooling effect.

It measures approximately 9 x 4 inches (23 x 10 cm), allowing it to completely cover the eyes. It weighs just under half a pound so it is a gentle weight on the eyes and the flax and lavender are able to mold into a comfortable shape.
