Fuchsia Speckles, Naturally Dyed Silk Eye Pillow
Relax with this luxurious silk eye pillow. It is filled with organic flax seeds and organic lavender to provide a relaxing weight and aromatherapy to rest your tired eyes. The silk fabric feels so smooth and soft against your skin!
The outer fabric is 100% silk that has been hand-dyed by myself using all natural dyes. It is dyed with a variety of natural dyes to create an abstract design that is primarily fuchsia with some speckles that are purple and red-orange.
I dye the fabric in small batches so the exact speckled design varies. See photos for examples of the variation.
CONSTRUCTION
The eye pillow is lined with cotton to prevent any lavender bits from poking through the silk fabric. Seams are all professionally finished on the inside and double stitched on the edge so the organic flax and lavender filling will be sure to stay where it's supposed to - inside!
USE
It is useful for sleep (especially when traveling!), meditation, relaxation, or restorative savasana at the end of yoga. Kids love them too!
The eye pillow can be placed in the freezer before using to provide a cooling effect.

Eye pillow measures approximately 9 x 4 inches (23 x 10 cm), allowing it to completely cover the eyes. It weighs just under half a pound so it is a gentle weight on the eyes and the flax and lavender are able to mold into a comfortable shape.
